Bernard Zweers

Bernard Zweers (1854-1924) was a Dutch composer and conductor, primarily associated with the late Romantic genre. He is best known for his contributions to orchestral and choral music, as well as for his operas. Zweers studied at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague and later became a prominent figure in the Dutch music scene. Notable works include his symphonic poem "De Scheiding" (The Separation), which is celebrated for its lush orchestration and emotional depth.
